13th Sept 2009 Matt's leaving us!
Matt has announced that he's hanging up his 'Boss Hogg' boots once we find a replacement. We're not convinced we will find a replacement that can drink as much Abbot Ale as he can but we will certainly try. Matt has decided to take a break from gigging and is looking forward to being the other side of the stage as we perform with the new line up, letting us know all of the mistakes we've made at the interval. If anyone is interested in an audition for the lead singer role, please get in contact with us asap. Matt has said that he'll be on hand 'front of house' as an extra pair of ears to get the sound spot on.

28th March 2009 The Greyhound ( Beeston ) - The Belly of Beeston!
The 'Belly of Beeston' was spotted on Friday night drinking real ale and playing keys with the band. Dave is making contact with Richard Curtis this week for some advise on setting up his very own charity 'BellyAid', Matt and Roger have already pledged to drink 8 pints of Abbott Ale in support of Dave's new venture. Good night on Friday... Great venue for bands, nice big stage, good quality in house PA, LED Lighting rig which is far more comfortable than the usual pars, Video and Audio recording facility at a very affordable price. Crowd was a little thin on the ground but those that did turn up made up for it - thank-you. Next gig ' Dunham Massey ' bring it on!

The band decided to get together and record a couple of promo tracks. ( Can be found on the audio section of this site ).

3rd May 2008 Charl Pyatt steps up to the plate as Boss Hogg's new drummer. Welcome aboard Charl! To celebrate, she buy herself a new kit. Well actually I think Roger may have had something to do with the finances. Who cares, it's a cute little cocktail kit that kicks ass, especially when mic-ed up. Don't believe us, come to a gig and hear for yourself.

24th April 2008 Steve Elliott joins Boss Hogg as regular bass player. Welcome aboard Steve! ( The search for a regular drummer continues )

23rd April 2008 Alan & Steve come to the rescue!
Following a band collapse Matt, Si and Dave were very grateful to Alan K Pratt ( Drums ) & Steve Elliott ( Bass ) for stepping in for the Dunham Massey gig. A special thanks to Alan for the use of his studio and awesome sounding Proel PA.
