Xmas ideas ??? mmmmm ?? A problem for most , well , not anymore , what about 'Boss Hogg , Loud and proud at the Shoulder' DVD. Get in there , it captures a kind of 1970's (yep , the good old days) , pack 'em in to the small theartre setting , you know , those clips of TREX/Bowie/Sweet playing at an Odeon (before ridiculous places like the NEC/Hallam arena etc) , nobody in their seats , girls swaying , security struggling to keep people off the stage , people passing out due to the frenzy , clammy , sweaty , cramped !!! Its all there on the DVD , the old guy rockin' his socks off , the hen party (why bother with Dublin or Prague) , it was all here !!! All ages , a young lad being blooded into Rock 'n' Roll , Laura and her mates , Middle agers like me , and yes , again , take the plaudits , the old guy rockin' his socks off , you was top nOOb of the night !!! This is just one of those nights , luckily captured on film , difficult to repeat . Plus there is an extras DVD with an insight into the band members on the night. Highlights include a near riot when Charl was questioned about her age , as her mentor/manager/security I nearly cancelled the gig !!! Matt , slobbering and slurring all over my misses !! Si , outside after the gig with members of the Hen party ! Steve , caught early on in cold turkey mode due the the new vocal responsibilitys but it came off a treat (also shots of him from last week at the X factor style vocal bootcamp) and last but not least Dave (donning his most trendy stage shirt) attracting a smile or two from a female fan !!! Now , this extras DVD does come with a advice to wives/girl freinds of the band who were not present , non of the events really happened , they are totally fabricated for entertainment purposes only !!!!! So that is it , probably the best Xmas Pressie money can buy , get your orders in now !!! PS , next week folks , 6th December , last gig of 2008 , Wetmore Whistle , guest appearance from the legendary Pete Youngerman , book early , its gonna be rammed !!!!!
